Beverly is currently in a therapist-in-training at the Lighthouse Counselling and is pursuing
her Master of Counselling degree at Monash University. She is passionate about guiding
individuals on their journey toward resilience, self-discovery, and embracing life's challenges
with newfound strength. Beverly is an empathetic listener who takes the time to understand
your unique situation and works with you to achieve your goals. She uses a variety of
therapeutic techniques including Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help her clients achieve
positive outcomes.
Beverly is originally from Singapore and has lived and worked in London and Hong Kong
for many years, gaining valuable experience working with people from diverse cultures and
backgrounds. She holds a degree in Engineering from Oxford University and has worked in
investment banking for eight years, which gives her a unique understanding of the pressures
that people in high-stress careers face. Beverly took a career break to raise her two children,
who are now teenagers and can empathise with the social, academic and other challenges
confronting the younger generation, including the relationship with their parents.
Beyond her professional aspirations, she finds solace and inspiration in nature. She shares her
life with two cats and a dog and enjoys exploring the great outdoors, immersing herself in its
beauty, and finding rejuvenation amidst the tranquillity of natural landscapes.
