Beverly Foo

Beverly has a Master of Counselling degree from Monash University and is passionate about supporting individuals and couples on their journey toward resilience, self-discovery, and embracing life’s challenges. She is committed to providing a safe and empathetic space where clients feel heard and understood, working collaboratively to help them achieve their personal and relational goals.

In her practice, Beverly integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. Originally from Singapore, Beverly has lived and worked in the UK and Hong Kong, gaining valuable insights from friends and colleagues from diverse cultures. She has a Master of Engineering degree from Oxford University and spent eight years working in Corporate Finance within Investment Banking. This high-stress professional environment gave her a firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in demanding careers. As a mother of teenagers, Beverly has a personal insight into the social, academic, and relational challenges that adolescents and their families encounter. Her life experience further enhances her ability to empathise with clients navigating family dynamics, career transitions, and other significant life changes.

In addition to her counselling practice, Beverly volunteers with the AWARE Women’s Helpline, offering support and guidance to women in need. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys long walks in nature and spending quality time with her dog and two cats.
